Coastal Bend College Coach Joins PRCSBL as Turistas Manager

The Puerto Rico Collegiate Summer Baseball League (PRCSBL) is excited to announce Nathan Perden, assistant pitching coach and recruiting coordinator at Coastal Bend College, as the new manager of the Turistas for the 2025 season. With extensive coaching experience and a proven ability to develop talent, Coach Perden is ready to lead the Turistas to success in one of the most competitive summer collegiate leagues.

Hailing from Bogalusa, Louisiana, Coach Perden has cultivated an impressive coaching career. He began as the catching coach at Dallas Fort Worth Postgrad, honing players’ defensive skills and leadership behind the plate. He then served as the bullpen coach at the University of Arkansas Rich Mountain, where his guidance contributed to developing some of the program’s most reliable pitchers. Currently, Coach Perden is the assistant pitching coach and assistant recruiting coordinator at Coastal Bend College, where he plays a pivotal role in shaping a competitive pitching staff and identifying top talent to join the program.

As the Turistas’ manager, Coach Perden will focus on assembling a talented roster. He will leverage his recruiting expertise to identify and attract top collegiate players to the PRCSBL. His experience working with pitchers and catchers will be instrumental in building a cohesive and high-performing squad.

“I’m honored to be named manager of the Turistas and excited to join the Puerto Rico Collegiate Summer Baseball League,” said Coach Perden. “The PRCSBL is a fantastic opportunity for players to develop their skills while competing at a high level.
