Roberto Alonso Rejoins Bucaneros as Head Coach for 2025 Season
RINCÓN, PR—The Puerto Rico Collegiate Summer Baseball League (PRIBL) announced that veteran coach Roberto Alonso will return as head coach of the Bucaneros for the 2025 season. PRIBL President Carlos Nuñez praised Alonso's deep understanding of the league and his valuable contributions to the program.

Alonso's background includes significant roles, including assistant coach at Coral Springs High School and pitching coach at Atlantis University. He previously coached in the PRIBL, where he was known for his innovative strategies and ability to mentor young players.
From 2011 to 2016, he was an assistant coach at Florida Memorial University and led various South Florida Collegiate League teams. His expertise in psychology and player development makes him well-suited to lead the Bucaneros.
